ABOUT PAPWORTH TRUST
For 100 years, we have been supporting disabled people get the care, work and housing they need.
Starting as a tuberculosis colony in the picturesque Cambridgeshire village of Papworth Everard, our founder and social pioneer Sir Pendrill Varrier Jones provided treatment and appropriate work and housing to ensure they lived with greater control and independence over their lives.
These remain the cornerstones of Papworth Trust today. We support thousands of disabled people across the East of England, working with them to find the right care, work and housing and enrich their lives as much as possible.
Our mission statement is ‘I Can’ – we always see disabled people for what they can do.
We are very proud of our history. Be part of our future.
